Bringing great drama, literature and history to over 20,000 young people in the Lowcountry each year, arts education has always been a cornerstone of Charleston Stage's mission. Education programs include special low price performances for over 20,000 school students each season, an after school Theatre School program which provides theatre training for over 200 students each year, our TheatreWings Apprenticeship Program, a pre-professional theatre training program for outstanding high school students, and ArtReach Workshops, led by members of Charleston Stage's Professional Resident Acting Company, bringing the magic of theatre to schools throughout the state.

Sponsorship Levels

All sponsorships recieve the following acknowledgement. In addition, each sponsorship receives
ticket vouchers (number of vouchers varies per level).
• Donors are acknowledged on the donor page of Charleston Stage show programs (30,000+)
• Acknowledgement on the Charleston Stage website
• Recognition in all email, electronic and print marketing materials for the Education Programs

ARTREACH EDUCATION SPONSOR $10,000

Sponsor the Charleston Stage initiative to bring theatre education to underserved students in the Lowcountry.
• Ten (10) Ticket Vouchers that may be redeemed for any performance during the 2011-2012 season ($300 value)
($9,700 is tax deductible, value received is $300)

 

RESIDENT ACTOR/TEACHER SPONSOR $7,500

Sponsor a Charleston Stage Resident Actor/Teacher for the 2011-2012 season and help subsidize their instrumental involvement in our Education Programs.
• Eight (8) Ticket Vouchers that may be redeemed for any performance during the 2011-2012 season ($240 value)
($7,260 is tax deductible, value received is $240)

 

SCHOOL MATINEE SPONSOR $5,000

Help subsidize the cost of providing live theatre to over 9,000 students through our School Matinee Program.
• Six (6) Ticket Vouchers that may be redeemed for any performance during the 2011-2012 season ($180 value)
($4,820 is tax deductible, value received is $180)

 

THEATRESCHOOL CLASS SPONSOR $2,500

Provide valuable class materials and supplies and help subsidize the cost of our TheatreSchool classes.
• Four (4) Ticket Vouchers that may be redeemed for any performance during the 2011-2012 season ($120 value)
($2,380 is tax deductible, value received is $120)

 

THEATREWINGS HIGH SCHOOL APPRENTICE PROGRAM SPONSOR $1,000

Sponsor a TheatreWings High School Apprentice and help supply them with tools and equipment as part of their technical education.
• Two (2) Ticket Vouchers that may be redeemed for any performance during the 2011-2012 season ($60 value)
